Tax Day Message from Rep. Woodall
We have big plans to Storm the Hill in Washington on April 16 and ask you to stand with FairTax sponsor, Representative Rob Woodall, on Tax Day, April 17. Those event details are below.

Real reform requires real political courage. Next Tuesday, I will proudly stand
shoulder-to-shoulder in front of the United States Capitol with other members
of Congress who care more about the next generation than they do about the next
election. We will gather there in front
of the Capitol to make our strong support of the FairTax known to all.
I know that many of you will have traveled hundreds of miles
in your community and to the event in Washington to bring the FairTax to the
doorstep of every family and politician in America. For that, I am grateful. Even if you won’t be with us in person on
Tuesday, you will be with us in spirit, and I urge you to continue to make your
voice heard. Make no mistake—the
American people are still in charge of America. Every phone call that you make
and every email that you send brings us one step closer to passing the FairTax
and reclaiming our freedom from an overbearing tax code that has put its boot
on the throat of every job creator, every consumer, and every taxpaying
American for far too long now. It only
takes a few minutes out of your day to contact your
representatives, which doesn’t seem like much when you compare it to the
twelve hours each year it takes the average American to file their tax returns.
The good news is that everyone in Washington—from the White
House to the Speaker of the House—is talking about fundamental tax reform these
days. Now is the time to take advantage
of this momentum by making sure the FairTax continues to be a key part of their
conversation. That’s why I need you—more
than ever—to stay engaged, stay active, and help us do what Washington insiders
tell us can’t be done. We must unleash
America’s true economic potential and reclaim the freedoms that have been
pilfered, obscured, and weakened by our hopelessly broken tax code. We have to pass the FairTax, and I need your
help to persuade Congress and the nation.
Thank you all for your continued commitment to the FairTax
and to freedom. We are partners in this
effort to save freedom and save the American economy. Together, I know that we can succeed.
It's High Noon for the FairTax on April 16
On Monday, April 16, 2012, we are joining with our friends at Fair Tax Nation for a virtual “Storm the Hill.” We’re asking FairTaxers everywhere to call their U.S. Representative and Senator at 12:00 noon eastern and tell them why you want their support for H.R. 25 / S. 13 “The FairTax Act.” Send them a tweet – write a comment on their Facebook page. Make sure your voice is heard and invite your friends to the Facebook event.

Stand Tall with Rob Woodall on April 17
On Tuesday, April 17, 2012, Representative Rob Woodall (R-GA and
FairTax Sponsor in the House of Representatives) is hosting a press conference
outside the capitol at approximately 1:00 pm eastern. He is inviting members of Congress who
support the FairTax and all FairTax supporters who are able come join him in
support of the FairTax.
