Dear fellow FairTax supporters,

We've already sent over 70,000 faxes to Congress in the past two weeks, and our goal is to send 100,000 by April 17th. Can you take a moment to fax Congress in support of the FairTax and help us reach our goal?

I'm fed up with a convoluted tax code that even the IRS can't understand. I know you are too. But we can't count on our elected leaders to take on real tax reform just because it’s the right thing to do. We need to demonstrate overwhelming grassroots support for the FairTax and we can only do that with your help.

Tell Congress that tax reform is not a myth -- it's time for the FairTax!

While you may not see it on a daily basis, you and other FairTax supporters have already helped us move the FairTax forward -- at a rate that greatly exceeded my expectations. I would like to give you just a taste of what you have been able to accomplish in the last month alone:

• Over 70,000 faxes sent to Congress in support of the FairTax;
• Over 20,000 new online advocates for the FairTax;
• Well over $100,000 in grassroots fund-raising;
• Invaluable earned media opportunities across the country -- including key primary states;
• An aggressive and entertaining media campaign in Iowa; and
• The creation and implementation of our new logo/look.

These are great short-term achievements; however, we need to be prepared to work even harder as we approach the Iowa Lincoln Day Dinner (April 14), the South Carolina Democratic Party presidential primary debate (April 26), the May 15th South Carolina Neal Boortz rally, and many more key events. Success at these events will make the FairTax an election issue all across the country in 2008.
