We went over the Top!
Your FairTax National Victory Campaign Set to Launch This Month!
We have reason to celebrate the first step to victory in Congress for your FairTax.
This week our first goal toward a revitalized national campaign was achieved with both one of the first donations of $2,000 to our effort and then, when we were close but not quite there—with another investment of $1,000 that put us over the top! It was from Barry Hinckley from Boston, MA. Interestingly, Barry is such a strong supporter that he was both the first and latest donor to the National Campaign Fund. Thank you Barry!
Barry is a Maine native, father and entrepreneur who became a strong FairTax supporter because of the economic boom and massive number of jobs that would be created with the FairTax plan in place. Barry has also made possible very important meetings with a key national legislator from the Democratic side of the aisle to talk about how the FairTax can immediately reverse the sad unemployment figures that are taking such a toll on Americans in every state!
Barry is a volunteer board member of the Massachusetts Staffing Association, a non-profit organization that promotes employment services, training and education. As a business owner and volunteer, he is on the front lines of the unemployment crisis on our country—understanding, first hand, the desperate national need to create new, good, high paying American jobs.

Question of the Week
The question for this week is…
The FairTax plan is simple, straightforward and non-intrusive. Do you agree?
Please mark 10 for this being a very strong argument, and 1 for this being very weak, or wherever in-between you believe is appropriate.

In last week's question we asked: The FairTax we will widen our tax base by collecting revenue on trillions of dollars from illegal immigrants, from money earned in offshore bank accounts and investments that which never show up in the income filings of certain people, and other money in the underground market? FairTax will create an enormous economic boom by creating new jobs and bringing $11 trillion in offshore wealth back to the U.S.
The results for last week's question:

FairTax in the News
The Many (Gratefully Received) Smaller Investments
If you were among the thousands who invested in your FairTax National Victory Campaign Fund, thank you so very much! Most contributions were for far smaller amounts than Barry’s and taken all together—represent broad, steady and strong support for the FairTax. In a sense, these smaller, but pivotally important investments are a good indicator of how we will win this campaign—a lot of us working together to create something much bigger than any of us. We’ll be featuring other more modest but equally important contributors in the coming weeks. Will you be featured next?

The Marketing Program Test
On the marketing test itself, we will start on the internet and with telephone appeals, followed late this month or early next with direct mail and these will continue almost non-stop until we are celebrating the signing of your FairTax bill by the President.
None of this will be easy. We are working around the clock to get the launch ramped up to full speed as quickly as possible. Our country, our people need the FairTax so badly right now, one can almost taste it.

What it Means for You—and Our Great Nation
Imagine $11 trillion, yes trillion, invested right here in America from offshore banks and investments. Both American wealth and potential investment from foreign producers will be pulled here as if a powerful magnet were at work on this wealth when we eliminate the punitive tax laws that keep American dollars from “coming home” and foreign-held wealth from far, far greater investment here.
Can you imagine what $11 trillion will do for our economy and for the creation of good paying jobs--and for our very position in the world? To put this in perspective, this single positive factor created by the FairTax would bring in the equivalent of about $35,000 for every man, woman and child in the United States! That’s the equivalent of every person in the nation paying cash for a very nice new car! Just this one “FairTax effect” will cause an economic boom all by itself!
And that is just the beginning…
How many hundreds of billions go untaxed now here in the U. S.? Many hundreds of billions of dollars in illegally acquired drug money and other criminal activity for instance. More billions from underground cash operators. All this money, now uncollected, costs you and me and every normal, honest taxpayer a bundle. Tax cuts as all pay their fair share under the FairTax are defined in a growing body of research. As needed, broader support for vital services…even Social Security and Medicare which are currently facing trillions in unfunded mandates.
Then, add to the “plus column” more hundreds of billions we now waste--worse than waste--since it comes with endless hours or uncompensated toil and nerves in the preparation of unnecessarily complicated tax forms. It is estimated that this “worse than waste” and totally destructive fallout from the 67,5000+ page tax code costs us at least $300 billion a year plus stress…all gone, along with the IRS itself.
One active supporter recently wrote us, “the simplicity and non-intrusiveness of the FairTax is the most attractive feature of the bill. No forms, no saving receipts, no deadlines, no penalties, no hassle. We do not talk much about simplicity, and the incredible positive change that will create in everyone’s lifestyle who now file an income tax form. But we will be testing this issue and how you rate its appeal in today’s FairTax Friday Issues Survey.
So watch for your launch of the FairTax National Victory Campaign. You are going to be hearing a lot more about your FairTax in the days and months ahead!
