They Said WHAT?!

We regularly hear public figures make false or inaccurate claims about the FairTax. Whether these are made intentionally to mislead or are honest mistakes made from being ill-informed, they can have a negative effect upon potential FairTax supporters. They also tend to irritate those of us who know the truth. Rather than ignore these attacks and allow their misinformation to linger, we've decided to meet some of these challenges head on. We address those statements here by providing a verbatim transcript of the public figure's remarks and our rebuttal. Here we set the record straight. |

We expressed our grave concern that these false and misleading statements appeared on their site in “Unspinning the FairTax” posted on May 31, 2007.
